well its a diffrent style,

and its really good for comics where everyone has a special color.

plus there are less transperency issue's.

I use text tails for comics with humans,
and color coded for sonic charectors.

i never use color coded text boxes... but it's useful anyway i guess

I'm afraid there will never be a time when I can say that using "color-coded text boxes" is better than just using text boxes. There is just no reason to have different colors for different characters. If the only way that you think we can differentiate between your characters is based on their text color, then you aren't doing your job as a writer.

I like doing it color coded. It seems more easier for me and tells apart the characters.

I do my text boxes in an insane way... read my author comment for the second issue of my comic to see
EDIT: Now that I've revamped my comic, I don't anymore. Good thing I revamped it, too.
